Halloween in July?

I've recently started making things for Halloween off Pin interest, it became a bit obsessive. Halloween is slowly starting  off over here so we don't have access to all the really nice decorations that are available over in the states so we have no choice but to D.I.Y it. the recent trend is to decorate a tree for Halloween which I plan to do after all that Christmas tree spends way too much time in the cupboard.

there will be more Halloween craftiness here in October.

Great Yarmouth: it really is Great

the seaside is a good topic to create a smash page on because you collect loads of odds and ends to add to your book. its also full of bright colours and fun which matches in with a lot of smash products.

fun photos are a great source of smash book material as they are already decorated. I used up some old alpha stickers and used Papermania All Aboard paper scraps of this page. the all aboard range has lots of things that you can cut out and stick in a journal. I've been using K&CO products as well but Amy Tangerine has now brought out a range of smash products. you can get loads of free pintables of pin interest if your trying to save money or are like me and like to jam as much as possible in to your pages. here is a link to my pin interest board to get you started http://pinterest.com/katie20121/smashbooking/ http://pinterest.com/katie20121/smash-printables/

Devon and Poole Smash Book

hi just got back from my fortnights holiday to Devon and Dorset, the weather was all over the place as usual. so instead of trying to cram all the bits and bobs I've collected over the past 2 weeks into a scrapbook, I crammed them into my travel journal which has become my traveling scrapbook.

I've added a map of all the sites we've stayed at over the years and kept all of out site passes. we had to keep these on us to show security when ever entering the campsite.

Torquay is one of my favourite seaside resorts and each year we discover something new.
it rained often during our holiday but we carried on regardless sometimes we got soaked.

I made this pocket by cutting across an a5 envelope and adhering it to the page with washi tape.
